“Tania, if you want to go out, please leave me at home. We are husband and wife, and we will always be together. Have you ever thought about my feelings when you leave me behind? You miss Zachary and Serenity, but why can’t I come with you?”
Liam glanced at Sonny sitting on Tania’s lap and added, “You miss Sonny, and I miss him too.”
Sonny, the center of attention, raised his little face and looked at Tania, then at Liam, and finally at Tatum and Serenity. He didn’t quite understand why everyone was focused on him.
Earlier, he had only asked Grandma Reading to watch cartoons with him, then Grandpa York arrived.
Grandpa York took Grandma Reading’s hand and spoke extensively in front of him. Grandma Reading appeared to blush, and then she let Sonny watch TV alone while she took Grandpa York upstairs.
Just two minutes after they went upstairs, his aunt Serenity and uncle Tatum walked in.
“I miss Grandma Reading too,” Sonny said with his bright, twinkling eyes.
Everyone burst into laughter.
Confused, Sonny soon joined in the laughter as well.
Serenity told her nephew, “Sonny, it’s time to go upstairs for a shower. After your shower, you need to go to bed because you have to wake up for kindergarten tomorrow.”
“Auntie, can I watch for another ten minutes?” As soon as Sonny heard Serenity urging him to go upstairs, he couldn’t help but negotiate.
Serenity reminded him, “Tomorrow is Friday. Uncle Lewis will pick you up from kindergarten in the afternoon, and then he’s taking you by plane to Jensburg. Your mother is waiting for you and Uncle Lewis in Jensburg.”
Serenity even wished she could fly to Jensburg too, but no one supported her idea.

Sonny followed Duncan to Jensburg on Friday. Liberty only agreed to Sonny’s trip if Duncan accompanied him.

The conflict between her and the Farrell family was bound to escalate, and she would not allow Sonny to return to Jensburg again.
So far, nothing had occurred. The Farrell family remained cautious of the York family and were hesitant to make any moves for the time being.

Sonny suddenly exclaimed with joy, “Auntie, I won’t watch cartoons anymore. I’m going upstairs to take a shower and then go to bed. Oh, after my shower, I still need to pack my things.”

With that, Sonny slipped from Tania’s arms, remembering to say goodnight to everyone present before happily heading upstairs.
Tania turned to Serenity and asked, “Seren, do you want him to bathe by himself?”
Serenity replied, “He has learned to care for himself.”
“I’d like to help him bathe, but he won’t let me. He insists he’s a man and that a woman can’t help him bathe.”
“It’s quite embarrassing,” she said. Everyone laughed once more. Sonny, a small child, understood that there were distinctions between men and women. However, Serenity chose to follow Sonny upstairs.
