Serenity responded with a smile, “I know.”
After Sonny was escorted away by the teacher, Serenity turned and headed toward the area where she had parked her car.
She noticed Mrs. Labbe, who had just entered her vehicle, with two bodyguards still accompanying her.
One of the bodyguards respectfully assisted Mrs. Labbe in opening the car door.
Mrs. Labbe turned her head, looked out the window, and spotted Serenity. She smiled and waved.
In return, Serenity waved back out of courtesy.
Before long, the luxury car carrying Carrie drove off.
Serenity shifted her gaze, took out her mobile phone, and sent a voice message to Camryn: “Camryn, I just saw Mrs. Labbe again. Is your sister giving you any trouble?”
Camryn hadn’t left yet; she had a video conference in the morning and wouldn’t be returning to the flower shop.
She still had several matters to handle on the phone for the company.
In any case, she was busy.
Later that evening, she returned to Wildridge Manor with Callum.
It was the weekend again.
She typically didn’t work on weekends, and if anything urgent arose, Dalton would take care of it.
Employees at the flower shop were watching again.
She was glad to be free and to enjoy a pleasant weekend with Callum.
The following evening, she would attend a banquet with her mother-in-law.
“Not right now; I’m not sure if she’ll show up later,” Camryn replied to Serenity.
“I can’t shake the feeling that the Mrs. Labbe you’re describing is very much like Carrie, and their voices are quite similar,” Camryn added.
Serenity responded, “Even if Carrie doesn’t have a boyfriend, she can’t afford bodyguards or luxury cars. I recognize her own vehicle.”
Camryn considered this and said, “Next time I see Mrs. Labbe, I’ll call Carrie and ask her to come over. I’ll find out if she’s alone.”
“That sounds like a good plan,” Serenity agreed.
“Good.”
Don’t fault the sisters-in-law for being negligent.

The reality was that, despite Carrie’s attempts to disguise herself or change her behavior, her physical appearance and voice remained the same.
Camryn had been Carrie for over 20 years and had often been a target of her bullying. Camryn was very familiar with Carrie’s voice.
Moreover, the two women Carrie despised most were Serenity and Camryn.
They had every reason to suspect that Carrie might change her identity to get closer to them and execute a larger scheme.
“Are you still at home?” Serenity inquired.
Camryn replied, “I won’t be going back to the flower shop today. I have numerous matters to handle at the company, and I need to conduct a video conference.”
Initially, Camryn had planned to visit the company, but since she typically stayed there for several days at a time and needed to accompany her mother-in-law for social obligations this weekend, she decided to postpone her visit until next week.
Serenity asked, “Did you return to the company so soon?”
Camryn smiled and replied, “Your husband is okay with you going out so early?”
Serenity chuckled, “I dropped Sonny off at kindergarten. Zachary came home late last night after drinking some wine, so he slept in today. I left the house first. He doesn’t mind what I do. I have the freedom to go out whenever I choose.”
Zachary genuinely meant what he said; he would never expect her to act like a traditional lady at home.
Zachary respected Serenity’s decisions and did not restrict her independence. She was free to pursue her desires, and he always supported her unconditionally. She was fortunate to have a husband like him!
