-Liberty smiled and said, “Make sure to save some time for Elisa to schedule a date. Don’t squeeze her so tightly that she has no time for it.”

Serenity replied, “No way! I’m keeping an eye on everything, big and small, at the head office. Elisa is just interested in checking out the new company. With so many people involved, she only needs to sign the contract and let the management team handle the rest. It won’t interfere with her date.”

Liberty encouraged, “Alright, then you can discuss it and make arrangements. Seren, if there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now. I have some work to do, and afterwards, I’ll be heading to the airport to pick up Sonny.”

Serenity responded, “Okay, sister, you focus on your work. I’ll wait in Zachary’s office until he finishes for the day, and then we can go home together.”

On Friday nights, Zachary typically avoided socializing and preferred to spend time with Serenity.

Once the sisters ended their call, Serenity immediately reached out to Elisa.

She informed Elisa about plans to open a branch in Jensburg.

Elisa showed no objections and was genuinely excited.

In the past, when people talked about Elisa, they often described her as the temperamental, arrogant daughter of a businessman who looked down on others.

Now, conversations shifted to focus on Clive.

Elisa was no longer just Miss Stone, known for her extravagant spending; she was now recognized for her ability to generate significant income.

Elisa also mentioned her ambition to be on par with Clive in a few years.

With both Elisa and Jasmine’s agreement, the decision to open a branch in Jensburg was finalized.

Due to their husbands’ restrictions, the two expectant mothers were not permitted to travel far.

Elisa, along with Serenity and Jasmine, would manage the affairs of the Wiltspoon head office.

Their division of responsibilities was thorough, and their collaboration was harmonious.

When Zachary arrived,

As he entered, Zachary noticed Serenity on the phone, discussing business matters. Josh, who had followed him, paused upon seeing her and whispered to Zachary, “Let’s talk another day; I’m going back to work.” Zachary nodded in response.

Josh then turned and exited the office. Zachary gently closed the door behind him and approached Serenity, who was seated on the sofa, engrossed in her conversation. She was so absorbed in her discussion that she didn’t notice Zachary’s return.

Once she finished her call and looked up, she spotted Zachary sitting across from her, quietly watching. “Husband, when did you come back? Why didn’t I notice?” Serenity asked.

Zachary smiled and replied, “I’ve been here for a few minutes. You were so focused on your conversation that you didn’t hear me come in.” He had also walked softly to avoid interrupting her.

Serenity smiled sheepishly and inquired, “Did you resolve the matter?”

“Yes, there’s nothing that can’t be accomplished when your husband takes action,” Zachary said as he stood up and sat beside her, pulling her into an embrace.

After a few minutes of holding each other, Serenity pulled away, sat up straight, and asked, “Is there nothing more you need to do?”

Zachary gently held her head, allowing her to lean on his shoulder once more. “My wife is here. You’ve waited for me for so long, so I need to spend some time with you first before attending to other matters.”

Now that he had Serenity, she was his top priority. Those who knew Zachary remarked that Mr. York was no longer the workaholic he once was.

Zachary then asked, “Did Sonny leave with Duncan?”

“Yes, Duncan came with me to the kindergarten to pick up…”

After picking up Sonny, they headed straight to the airport. Sonny had been thinking about him all day. In the morning, I took him to kindergarten, and he reminded me to help him. He kept bringing up the suitcase.
