While heading to the hot pot restaurant, Serenity received a call from Jane.

Upon answering, the first voice she heard was Enzo’s.

“Jane, what is Enzo up to?” Serenity asked, smiling.

Jane, holding Enzo in one arm and her mobile phone in the other, replied, “As soon as he saw me using my phone, he tried to grab it. If I didn’t give it to him, he would yell and demand my phone to play with.”

Serenity chuckled and suggested, “You should buy him a toy phone that rings.”

Jane agreed, saying, “Yes, he really enjoys playing. He just wants to have fun. When he sees me with my phone, he thinks it belongs to him and wants to take it.”

“Seren, have you eaten?” Jane asked, then appeared to speak to someone else. “Take Enzo for a walk so he doesn’t cause too much trouble here.”

Enzo was either yelling or crying loudly; he truly was a crybaby, much like Tim’s son, Fabian.

The nanny took Enzo away, while Avah, who didn’t care for crying much, was taken by an unknown elder.

An obedient, well-behaved baby is truly endearing.

The primary reason was that the Johnson family had several girls, but currently, only one girl, Avah, with the rest being boys.

Serenity said, “We’re on our way to eat hot pot. You seem so free; you called me because you miss me.”

Jane smiled and replied, “Well, since you don’t come to see me, I’d rather come to see you. But taking my two little ones out isn’t as easy or convenient as going out alone.”

Avah was quite clever.

Whenever Jane planned to go out, Avah would cry or kick Enzo until he cried too.

Although Avah was just a few months old and couldn’t speak, she had mastered the art of luring her mother over.

After several instances, Jane realized that whenever Avah…

cried, she wished to follow her outside. If she took a pair of children with her, her daughter would not cry.

Under normal circumstances, she would bring her two children along whenever possible, as the nanny could assist with them. However, it wasn’t as easy or comfortable as going out alone.

Jane: “Is Sonny with you?”

Serenity: “Yes, are you looking for him? Did Titus come back?”

Jane would express concern for Sonny’s current situation but wouldn’t actively seek him out. Unless Titus returned and wanted to speak with his friends over the phone, Jane would not go out of her way to find Sonny.

Jane: “Titus just returned. His winter vacation started a bit earlier than Sonny’s. Now that it’s winter break, he can’t wait to follow his master home.”

The old miracle doctor was also thinking of Fabian, so as soon as Titus’s winter vacation began, he and Fabian packed their bags and flew back to Annenburg to move into FC Manor.

Jane: “Titus mentioned he wanted to talk to Sonny.”

Serenity smiled and replied, “Sure, I’ll give Sonny my phone so they can chat. Sonny’s winter vacation doesn’t start until next week, but he said he wants to come to your place to play for a bit.”

Sonny would only want to return home and celebrate the New Year with Liberty when Liberty came back to Wiltspoon for the annual vacation.

“I told Titus, and he was thrilled. He said he wanted me to take him shopping for gifts tomorrow. When Sonny comes over, he’ll give gifts to him,” Jane said, handing the phone to Titus.

When Titus heard Serenity’s voice, he greeted her politely. Serenity responded and then passed the phone to Sonny, leaving the conversation open for them to connect.

Two children were talking on the phone. The conversation continued as they made their way to the hot pot restaurant. Sonny reluctantly told Titus, “My aunt, Aunt Jasmine, and Sister Abby took me out for hot pot. Titus, I’m getting out of the car now, so I won’t talk to you for a bit. But during winter vacation, my aunt and I will visit your house to play, as my uncle promised me.”
