Tatum had not yet fallen in love with Elora, nor had he begun to pursue her. Instead, he first showcased the nurturing qualities characteristic of a man from the York family.

“Second Miss.”

Tatum and Uncle Joly stood at the entrance of the office.

As soon as the door opened, both greeted Tinsley with respect.

It was just the end of the workday.

The secretary was also preparing to head downstairs for dinner.

Tatum had borrowed the kitchen of the company cafeteria to prepare lunch for Elora, timing it perfectly. He sent the freshly made meals upstairs just a few minutes before the end of the workday, ensuring he would avoid running into company employees.

This way, he wouldn’t interrupt Elora’s work.

It took several minutes for him and Joly to walk from the cafeteria to the office building and then take the elevator to the top floor.

“Uncle Joly, Tatum, you’re here,” Tinsley said as she stumbled and opened the door for the two of them.

“We just finished work.” Joly and Tatum entered the office one after the other.

“Miss.”

The two respectfully addressed Elora before walking to the sofa, where they set down the insulated lunch box, opened it, and arranged the steaming meals on the coffee table.

Elora approached them.

“Eldest Miss, Second Miss, please enjoy your meal. Everything is fine. Uncle Joly and I will step out for a moment. When you both finish, just call us, and we will come in to clear the dishes.”

Tatum had already served a bowl of soup to each sister.

In addition to the usual three dishes and one soup, there were also two boxes of snacks—one for Elora and the other for Tinsley, who…

Elora was just finishing her meal. She hummed softly.

“Miss, we are waiting outside the office,” Joly said respectfully.

Elora nodded in acknowledgment. Joly and Tatum exited the office quietly.

The sisters preferred to eat in silence to finish their meals more quickly. Before long, they had finished the food that Tatum had brought.

Tinsley remarked, “Tatum not only cooks delicious meals but also has a keen eye. He prepared just the right amount for us—neither too much nor too little.”

Having worked for only two or three days, Tatum had already discerned the sisters’ eating habits. He was quite observant.

Elora took out a napkin to wipe her mouth, and after setting it down, she told Tinsley, “We have two boxes of snacks. You can take one back to your office. If you feel hungry later, you can have a snack to tide you over.”

Tinsley replied matter-of-factly, “Then I’ll take a box.”

Elora clarified, “Tatum sent two boxes, and one is just for you.”

She opened one box of snacks and found it filled with her favorites, so she repackaged it for herself and handed her sister the other box to take.

“When you head out, please ask Uncle Joly to come in and clean up.”

Tinsley lingered for a moment, looking at Elora before asking quietly, “Sister, don’t you think Tatum is really considerate of you?”

Elora tapped her forehead in annoyance. “I wouldn’t say he’s considerate. Usually, if I don’t eat at the hotel, I ask Uncle Joly to deliver food. I’ve mentioned that if the delivery takes more than ten or twenty minutes, it affects the taste. After such a long delay, while the insulated lunch box keeps the food warm, it’s still not as good as fresh cooking. I often don’t eat well, don’t have enough, and there aren’t any snacks available.”

During a working day, I seldom eat in a relaxed manner, correct?
