After Trenton released his sister, a smile returned to Callum’s face. Neither sibling realized just how jealous he had been moments earlier.

“Winter vacation has arrived so quickly,” Camryn remarked as she observed Trenton. He appeared stronger and more mature than before, and she felt pleased with his transformation since starting college.

“As soon as the holiday began, I packed my things and took the high-speed rail back home. When I arrived, I noticed your car was here. I asked the butler, and he mentioned that you had just returned from the company. Sister, it seems everything is going well,” Trenton said casually, trusting Camryn and his stake in Newman’s enterprise.

He was still unfamiliar with business matters and lacked experience, so he didn’t probe too deeply.

Camryn replied, “Everything is going smoothly. It’s nice to be back. Please wash your hands and eat first; I just got home too.”

Trenton affectionately referred to Callum as his brother-in-law once more.

Just a few minutes later,

after Callum had used serving chopsticks to dish out some food for Camryn, he turned to Trenton and asked, “Don’t you plan to find a temporary job during your winter break? It would help you gain some social experience and earn a little pocket money.”

Though Trenton didn’t need money, Callum wanted him to find a temporary job to avoid sitting at home and being a third wheel, interrupting Callum and Camryn’s romance.

Trenton replied, “The New Year is approaching, and I can only work for a few days before taking my annual leave.”

Camryn interjected, “Let him relax at home and just invite his classmates over for a gathering.”

Trenton stated, “I need to go to work. Sister, please arrange a temporary job for me. I’ll work for our company, and in the future, I’ll help lighten your load. I have to study, but during every winter and summer vacation, I plan to work as a temporary employee at the company.”

He didn’t expect to earn much; he simply wanted to gain experience and understand the family business better.

Camryn replied, “It’s almost New Year’s; do you still want to work? When you return, you won’t need to visit your parents or search for your second sister. There hasn’t been any news about her lately, and I’m unsure what has happened. That’s all.”

She was not concerned about Carrie; her main interest was whether she could become Mrs. Labbe. Serenity mentioned that Mrs. Labbe had not been seen for the past two or three days.

Before Trenton could respond, Callum interjected. “There is still time until the New Year. Many companies are quite busy at year-end. Trenton is eager to learn about the family business, so taking on odd jobs at the company to earn some pocket money is perfectly fine.”

He will need to manage his own responsibilities in the future, and getting involved early will be beneficial. Camryn, if you’re hesitant about letting Trenton go far, I can arrange for him to train at the York Clan. It’s nearby, so you won’t have to worry, and I can keep an eye on him every day.”

As long as Trenton is working, he can’t just be a bystander. Even as a temporary worker at York Corporation, he will face challenges and be expected to work overtime daily. He won’t have the opportunity to simply support his sister and brother-in-law.

With both her husband and brother expressing this viewpoint, what more could Camryn say?

Camryn responded, “Trenton, then go to your brother-in-law’s company to gain some experience.”

skills. It’s conveniently located nearby, and your brother-in-law can assist you if needed.”

Trenton aspired to join his own family’s company. However, most of their business was located in different provinces and cities, and he preferred to work for his own company, which was situated far from home. This made Camryn anxious.

He was also concerned that when he wanted to return home, he might struggle to afford high-speed rail tickets.

Being a temporary worker at York Corporation wasn’t a bad option. Trenton was aware of how many people aspired to join the company but never had the opportunity.

He expressed his gratitude to Camryn and was grateful for the chance to enter the company through his brother-in-law’s connections. “Then I’ll follow my brother-in-law’s advice. I’d appreciate it if you could arrange a job for me in two days. I’m open to doing any kind of work, even odd jobs. I have no work experience and wouldn’t dare to ask for a high position. As long as I’m with a classmate, I’ll be satisfied.”

He was willing to take on even cleaning duties; after all, it was York Corporation, not just a small factory.

As a complete novice with no experience, he realized he couldn’t expect much. Just getting the opportunity to join would be a significant achievement.
