Chapter 660

When Liberty was married to Hank, he enjoyed a comfortable life with everything taken care of for him.

Now, it was Jessica who was experiencing that lifestyle.

Hank believed that Jessica was his true love.

After effortlessly rising to the top and winning Hank’s deep affection, Jessica was eager to flaunt her victory in front of Liberty, attempting to provoke her.

Liberty ignored Jessica and continued selecting a few more outfits for herself.

In response, Jessica tried to snatch the clothes again.

Serenity caught her wrist and coldly warned, “Hey, don’t underestimate my sister. She may not want to fight you, but I won’t let you bully her!”

She released Jessica’s hand, and with a shove, Jessica stumbled several steps back to Hank’s side.

“Hank Brown, keep an eye on your girlfriend. Don’t let her provoke me, or I’ll make her regret it,” Jessica threatened.

Fuming, Jessica was momentarily speechless. “Serenity Hunt, does your man know how aggressive you are? Be careful he doesn’t decide to leave you.”

Serenity laughed. “My man is different from the rest. He appreciates my fierceness!”

Jessica was infuriated by Serenity’s laughter. When she noticed Hank standing by with Sonny in his arms instead of defending her, she slapped his arm in frustration and scolded him, “Look, Hank! Your ex-sister-in-law is picking on me!”

Concerned that Jessica might inadvertently hurt Sonny in her anger, Hank set the boy down.

Serenity waved to her nephew, “Come here, Sonny.”

Sonny quickly walked over to Serenity, who picked him up and said to Hank, “Keep an eye on your woman, Hank. I’m not as patient as my sister.”

“Seren, don’t argue with a mad dog,” Hank replied.

She probably believes that a mistress must compete with the legal wife. I quickly granted her wish, but she seemed dissatisfied with how smoothly things were going, so she resorted to showing off to feel superior.

“What is there to flaunt? Hank Brown is merely a man I no longer desire. If I were to compare him to footwear, he would be a pair of worn-out shoes. I discarded them, yet she picked them up and treated them like they were treasures.”

“Liberty!” Hank called out with a grim expression.

“Take a look in the mirror. Aren’t you embarrassed to shop in this store? Can you even wear these clothes? You’ll only ruin them.”

Liberty glanced at him before turning to the sales clerk. “Please ring me up. I’ll take all these clothes.”

Jessica interjected sarcastically, “Why not buy everything in this store? Didn’t your wealthy aunt acknowledge you? Didn’t she give you hundreds of millions to spend on clothes?”

“Do you live in a villa? Drive a luxury car? Do you have bodyguards following you everywhere?” That was Jessica’s biggest source of jealousy.

Immediately after Liberty and Hank divorced, she discovered her wealthy aunt. This aunt belonged to the Stone family, a powerful lineage second only to the Yorks, with assets worth billions.

The entire Brown family regretted their actions upon learning that Liberty had a prosperous aunt, especially Hank’s mother. When Jessica first started dating Hank, Olivia praised her, claiming she was more sensible, attractive, and capable than Liberty. Olivia remarked that Hank was fortunate to have met her.

Now, however, Olivia had privately advised Hank to pursue Liberty again, stating that Liberty would make a more suitable wife than Jessica. Was she insinuating that Jessica could only ever be a mistress?

“Buy all the—”

“Get those clothes from this store, or I’ll have a low opinion of you!”

Before Liberty could respond, Audrey and Elisa entered the store. Although Audrey usually took great care of her appearance, her face appeared gloomy as she loudly instructed the clerk, “Aside from the outfit she’s holding, please pack up all the clothes in your store for my niece.”
