Irene gasped as I turned to face her.

I couldn't imagine how I must have looked to her in this moment. I knew I was a complete mess but honestly? I couldn't care less. I was so beyond happy... my heart was full, and things couldn't possibly be better for me, my friends, and my

family.

"Seriously, Judy. You look like a mess, and we haven't even done photos yet," Irene whined as she approached us.

"Nan's having a baby,” I announced before I could stop myself.

Irene stopped in her tracks and turned to Nan, a questioning look in her eyes.

“It's true,” Nan said with a nervous laugh. "I'm having a baby."

"Holy shit," Irene gasped. “Congrats!"

She rushed towards Nan and Chester and hugged them both. Then, Gavin appeared around the corner with Taylor and Eliza on his trail. Eliza was holding baby Emalyn, and Gavin was, of course, holding Ryder.

Nan smiled when she saw her little daughter and went straight for her, just as I went to Ryder.

"Why is everyone in the hallway? Matthew is getting impatient about that cake," Gavin said, pressing his lips to the top of my head just as I kissed Rylder's little forehead.

"We just found out that Nan is pregnant," I told him, a genuine smile lighting up my face.

Gavin raised his brows and looked over at Nan, who was flushing from the sudden attention.

"That's huge news. Congratulations," Gavin said with a nod. "Now, can we get back to the real reason why we are here?"

I laughed at that.

"You mean the cake?" I asked.

“Exactly,” he teased right back, giving me a wink as he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me along with him.

I paused when I saw that Nan wasn't following. She was staying back with Chester, and when I met her eyes, she gave me a small smile.

"I'll be there in a minute,” she tells me. “I just need a minute with my mate."

I nodded, understanding completely.

With that, we went back to our wedding and cut the cake, which I'm sure was Matt's favorite part of the entire night.

For the rest of the evening, we danced, we laughed, and we had an overall amazing night.

"Congratulations!" Tabby said as she

wrapped me in a huge hug. "I'm so

you. You are omso

I laughed.

“Yeah, Irene is still giving me hell over it," I told her. "But it was well worth it."

"How is Irene doing, by the way?" Shirley asked; I hadn't realized she was standing there until that moment.

"She's doing great," I replied. "She bounced back pretty fast."

I glance over to where Irene and Erik were; they were wrapped up in one another, dancing on the dance floor.

"I heard she found her mate. I'm glad that wasn't just a rumor," Shirley said, letting out a breath. "We had no idea Chuck was like that. We knew he was a siren, but I didn't think he'd everuse his powers like that it wa dirty, and we don't condone Such behavior. I'm so sorry."

"You don't need to be the one to apologize," Hold her, giving her a small smile. “It wasn't your fault that he turned out to be a dirtbag I'm just glad there was no harm other than emotional. Irene is fine now, and she has her mate. His Alpha is dealing with Chuck. All is right in the world."

“And you just got married," Tabby said with a wide grin. “Let me see that ring!”

I chuckled as I showed off the Moon Gem. They cooed and awed, gushing over how gorgeous it was and how fitting.

"Judy, time for pictures," my mother said, motioning for me to go with the family.

We took pictures literally all over the place, and by the time we were done, I was exhausted and about ready to end this wedding stuff.

Our friends and family all waved us off as we got into Gavin's car and drove off for the first time as husband and wife.

"Are you ready?" Gavin asked, looking over me and offering me his hand.

I looked at it and then back at him.

"For what?" I asked him.

The corner of his lips tipped upward into the sexy smirk that I love so much.

"For the rest of our lives."

I smiled and took his hand, intertwining my fingers with his.

"I've been ready for a long time.”
