"Someone fell!"

A gasp of shock echoed across the first floor of the mall.

Stella West had crashed heavily onto the floor, her shopping bags tumbling down the escalator and spilling their contents everywhere.

She sprawled pathetically on the ground, the pain so intense she couldn't even open her eyes, only registering the crowd gathering around her with startled exclamations and pointing fingers.

Her entire body ached as she forced herself to lift her head, only to see two shopping bags right in front of her. The items had spilled out-coincidentally, it was the sexy lingerie, G-strings, and fishnet stockings she had just purchased.

The gazes of the onlookers varied, but even without looking up, Stella could feel the mix of contempt, amusement, and judgment directed at the scandalous garments.

Ignoring the agonizing pain, Stella scrambled to hide the scattered scraps of fabric beneath her. Her face burned with humiliation as she screamed furiously.

"Get lost! All of you, get out of here! What are you looking at? There's nothing to see, get lost!"

The crowd had originally just been watching quietly, and two young women had even been stepping forward to help.

At Stella's outburst, the crowd immediately backed away, and a few people instantly began to mutter in disdain.

"What a psycho, yelling in a public place like everyone owes her something."

"Judging by the trash she bought, she doesn't seem like a decent woman anyway." "Let's just go. She's ruining my mood for shopping."

The crowd dispersed, leaving Stella prone on the floor, the pain now feeling even more unbearable.

At the hospital.

Fiona Dashiell had already caught wind of the dramatic scene Stella had caused earlier.

Worried that Lizetta and Remington might get into a fight over the incident, Fiona gave them some time to sort it out while sending Tina over to Lizetta's room to eavesdrop on the situation.

A short while later, Tina returned, her brow furrowed and her expression hesitant.

Fiona immediately grew anxious, slapping her thigh in frustration.

"I knew Stella would ruin everything! She was such a sweet girl growing up, and now she's full of malicious schemes! Remington went to such great lengths to find her and instead of showing gratitude, she spends her days trying to destroy his and Lizetta's peace! And Remington! He knows Lizetta despises that woman, so why did he let her come over?!"

With that, Fiona hopped off the hospital bed, hastily sliding her feet into her slippers.

Tina hurried over to support her.

"Mrs. Dashiell, Remington and Lizetta are perfectly fine. They didn't fight at all. It's my fault-I was just trying to play a little joke on you but

I clearly took it too far."

Tina explained with a mix of panic and self-reproach, causing Fiona to pause her

frantic movements.

"They really didn't fight? Everything is fine?"

"They are wonderful, really. If you don't believe me, go see for yourself."

Tina helped Fiona put her slippers on properly, and Fiona nodded in determination.

"I will. I need to see it with my own eyes."

Tina chuckled. "Yes, yes. I knew you wouldn't be at ease until you saw it yourself."

Tina supported Fiona as they approached Lizetta's room, but before they could ever knock they heard the sounds of laughter drifting

from inside.

It was Lizetta's laughter, mingled with the innocent, bubbling giggles of a child.

Fiona froze, shooting a questioning look at Tina, who quickly explained.

"It's the West family's little boy. Lizetta seems to really hit it off with him, so he stayed."

Fiona looked stunned for a moment, before a flash of profound sorrow and emotion crossed her eyes.

Fiona hadn't known anything about Ron previously.

Seeing Lizetta treat Ron without a single trace of resentment left her with a swirl of complex emotions.
