Ray instantly felt a profound threat to his eyesight, fully aware he had just witnessed something he definitely wasn't meant to see.

For instance, the blindingly pale stretch of Lizetta's bare waist, and how perfectly his boss's hands had gripped it—the contrast of skin tone and sheer size difference had been far too vivid to unsee.

"Haha, it's better! It's completely fine now. I'd never dare ask you for help, Boss," Ray quickly pushed the bodyguard aside and stood at attention.

Remington scoffed, finally turning back toward the room. "Don't let it happen again."

Ray swallowed hard. Even if his boss didn't say it, he would never dare barge in without knocking again.

What if things were even more heated next time? He actually valued his life quite a bit.

The two men entered the room. Lizetta looked at Ray, feeling as though her tolerance for embarrassment had significantly leveled up recently.

She cleared her throat softly, pointed casually at the crib where Ron was sleeping, and whispered,

"Ray, please keep your voice down."

Ray nodded, stepping forward to speak softly.

"Your intuition was absolutely right. Martin and Eartha have been secretly colluding for a long time."

Lizetta gasped softly. She and Remington had previously suspected that Martin and Eartha had joined forces back when she went into that disastrous early labor.

But they hadn't possessed a single shred of evidence to prove it.

Now that Ray was stating it so definitively, they must have found a smoking gun.

Lizetta asked urgently, "Did you find something?"

Ray nodded. "Just moments ago, Martin and Eartha held a secret meeting."

He stepped closer, pulling out his phone to show Remington and Lizetta the photos he had captured.

The pictures were clearly taken from a distance, but they were crisp enough to make out the two figures standing face-to-face deep in the woods.

It was undeniably Eartha and Martin.

They were clearly scheming and appeared to have reached some sort of clandestine agreement.

In the final photos, Martin handed Eartha a document. Eartha signed it, they shook hands, and then parted ways.

Flipping through the photos, Lizetta pressed her fingertips into the screen, her grip tightening as an unbearable wave of hatred crashed over her.

How could she not hate them?

These two people right in front of her were the masterminds who had caused the death of Joy.

Her gaze locked onto Eartha's face in the final image. As Eartha shook Martin's hand, a relaxed, triumphant smile graced her features.

This woman was an absolute viper, consumed by pure, unadulterated selfishness and greed.

"Okay, that's enough."

Seeing her fingers trembling slightly against the screen, Remington took the phone away, wrapping his hands tightly around hers to warm them.

Lizetta leaned into his chest, taking a few slow, shaky breaths before finally calming down.

"She may have donated a kidney to my mother, but the Madden family has treated her like royalty ever since. That doesnt give her the right to act like a monster and try to steal the entire Madden Group for herself!"

Remington squeezed her hand. "Of

course it doesn't. Given how

vel.

insatiably greedy and selfish she is there's no way she voluntarily donated that kidney to my mother-in-law back then it was likely just step one of her grand scheme."

Lizetta nodded, letting out a heavy sigh.

"Nelson is going to be so heartbroken and blame himself for this."

For years, Nelson Madden had treated Eartha like his own daughter, giving her

complete trust and unwavering care.

Even when Eartha later married

Conrad West-which infuriated the

old man at the time-he eventually,

accepted it. He never cut tres with her always stepping in to help whenever she needed it.

Yet, the very person Nelson trusted so deeply had turned around, orchestrated a

lethal plot against her, and ultimately cost her Joy's life.
