Charlie and Claire had just taken their seats in the front row and were about to move toward the center when they noticed that the four individuals sitting ahead of them were all familiar faces.
At the entrance of the first row sat Doris Young. As soon as she spotted Charlie and Claire, she stood up with a bright smile and exclaimed, “Master Wade, Mr. Wilson, it’s wonderful to see you both!”
Claire responded with surprise, “Oh, Doris Young! What brings you to Stefanie Sun’s concert?”
Doris smiled back and explained, “I’ve always been a devoted fan of Stefanie Sun. I can sing every single one of her songs! When I heard she was finally performing in Aurous Hill, I couldn’t miss it.”
Claire nodded enthusiastically, saying, “I really didn’t expect someone as busy as you would still make time to follow your favorite artist!”
Doris looked at Charlie with a knowing glance and added, “Well, it’s also because my boss doesn’t come here often, so I can afford a little time off.”
Unaware that Doris’s boss was actually her husband, Charlie, Claire quickly reassured her, “It’s perfectly fine, Doris. Even if your boss finds out you’re here, I’m sure he won’t mind.”
“After all, it’s a time for relaxation!”
Doris chuckled and replied, “Who knows? Maybe our boss is a fan of Stefanie Sun too and is here for the concert!”
Claire assumed Doris was joking and responded with a smile, “It’s all good! Everyone has their own interests, and no one has the right to judge.”
At that moment, Charlie interjected, “My dear wife, let’s not linger here too long. If others need to come in and out, it could cause a disturbance. Let’s take our seats!”
Doris quickly agreed, saying, “Yes, Mr. Wilson, you and Master Wade should go ahead and sit down. We can chat later after the concert.”
“Alright!” Claire nodded, waving goodbye, “Doris, we’ll catch up later!”
“Sounds good!”
As Charlie and Claire passed Doris Young and moved a few seats down, a familiar voice called out, “Master Wade, you’re here too!”
Charlie looked down to see Jasmine, elegantly dressed, sitting in front of him.
Just as he was about to greet her, he noticed several more familiar faces nearby.
Beside Jasmine was the gentle Ito Nanako, and next to her sat the adorable Aurora. To Charlie’s surprise, Dr. Simmons was seated next to Aurora, alongside his granddaughter, Xyla.
At that moment, both Aurora and Xyla stood up shyly and respectfully greeted, “Master Wade, it’s great to see you!”
After they spoke, Ito Nanako couldn’t help but rise and bow slightly, saying, “Charlie!”
With so many beautiful women greeting him, Charlie found himself momentarily speechless, and Claire looked on in confusion.
Aside from Doris Young, Claire recognized two of these women: Jasmine, the eldest from the Moore family, and Xyla, the granddaughter of Dr. Simmons.
She recalled that her father, Jacob, had been in a terrible accident orchestrated by Jason Grant, leaving him paraplegic. Dr. Simmons had brought Xyla to the hospital and miraculously treated Jacob.
Though Aurora and Ito Nanako were also familiar to Claire, she couldn’t quite place where she had met them.
In fact, she had seen reports of their match in the past, but at that time, both had been in professional fighting attire, looking fierce. Ito Nanako had her long hair in a neat ponytail, while Aurora had sported a chic short hairstyle.
