Jake had come to terms with his situation.

When he weighed the prospect of spending the rest of his days digging ginseng on Mount Golmin, he felt fortunate to be assigned to a construction site in Aurous Hill, where he could carry cement for the next twenty years.

Living in the city meant he could return home and enjoy the vibrant nightlife occasionally.

Being sent to Mount Golmin would mean the end of everything he knew.

Noticing Jake’s resignation, Albert scoffed and remarked, “You should realize just how lucky you are. I could have taken you to the dog farm today and fed you to my dogs!”

Jake quickly nodded, expressing his gratitude, “Thank you, Mr. Wade. I truly appreciate your kindness… Thank you, Don Albert…”

Albert then commanded his men, “Bring him to the construction site right now. He will eat and live with the workers there. He’s only allowed two days off each month!”

“Yes, Don Albert!” two of Albert’s men promptly grabbed Jake and led him out of the lobby.

Turning to Charlie, Albert pointed at Aaron, who lay unconscious on the floor, and asked, “Mr. Wade, what should we do with that old man?”

Charlie responded casually, “The police will arrive for him shortly.”

As soon as he finished speaking, a group of police officers burst into the lobby, inquiring, “Who among you is Aaron Phillips?”

Jacob quickly pointed to Aaron sprawled on the ground, saying, “Officer, that’s the man you’re looking for.”

The police approached Aaron and compared him against a photo they had. Moments later, one officer confirmed, “Yes, that’s him. Take him away!”

One of the officers asked, “Captain, this person appears to be injured and unconscious. What should we do?”

“Get him to the hospital first,” the captain instructed. “We’ll detain him after he receives medical attention.”

At that moment, Eric, one of Aaron’s former classmates, anxiously asked, “Officer, what charge does Aaron face?”

The captain replied promptly, “Aaron is suspected of misusing his professional position to misappropriate illegal profits exceeding fifty million dollars!”

Everyone stood in shock.

No one could have anticipated that Aaron, a high-ranking official in a petrochemical company earning a substantial salary, would exploit his position for personal gain.

As the police escorted the unconscious Aaron away, his old classmates could only sigh at the unexpected turn of events.

Yet, all eyes turned to Charlie, filled with newfound admiration.

After all, Charlie had managed to put both Jake and Aaron in their places, showcasing an ability that left everyone astounded.

Jacob felt a sense of satisfaction, believing Charlie had preserved his dignity, and he was delighted as numerous classmates approached him with compliments.

However, a few couldn’t help but lament, “Oh no, Jake is gone. I doubt we’ll be able to enjoy ourselves anymore. Should we just head out?”

The group of old friends felt a bit disheartened.

Everyone had been eager to visit the Glorious Club, but unexpectedly, they had only made it into the lobby without seeing the interior of the club at all.

At that moment, Charlie turned to Albert and asked, “Albert, what’s the highest floor accessible with your membership card?”

“The tenth floor,” Albert replied quickly.

Charlie then requested, “Please book a room on the tenth floor so these gentlemen can have some fun tonight.”

Albert looked surprised, “But Mr. Wade, don’t you have an All-Access…”

Charlie raised his hand, signaling Albert to remain quiet about his membership status.
