Celeste and Celia exchanged a look and finally decided to put the security chain on and open the door just a crack.
The moment the door opened, gifts were shoved through the opening as if they were free.
A whole pile of them.
Celeste discreetly opened one and her eyes widened. The gift box not only contained cash but also commemorative gold coins, each weighing at least ten grams!
Gertrude and Elsa were equally astonished. It was their first time being bridesmaids, and they had never received such valuable gifts!
There were even gold coins!
This was truly a grand gesture.
"Let them in, let them in! Hurry up and let them in!"
Having accepted the gifts, the group happily opened the door for the groom's party. Gordon, holding the bouquet, looked past the crowd, his eyes landing on Caitlin.
She was wearing a red wedding gown today, its train stretching over ten feet and spread across the bed. Red was a vibrant color, but on her, it became a mere accessory to her jade-like beauty, a truly breathtaking sight.
At that moment, Caitlin looked up.
Their eyes met, and it was as if they were the only two people in the world.
Just then, Skyler suddenly jumped in front of Caitlin. "Boss Caitlin, guess who I am!"
Seeing Skyler in women's clothing, Caitlin was stunned for a moment before breaking into a delighted laugh.
Next began the quest to find the wedding shoes.
Gertrude brought over the Morse code puzzle box. "There are eight codes in total. Who wants to try and solve it?"
"I'll give it a shot," Kern said, taking the box. "Master Ninth, you guys go look for the other shoe."
Kern was incredibly smart. He
solved the first seven codes in poet
time, but Gordon, Will, and the rest
of the party were still searching for the remaining shoe.
Kern brought the box to Gordon. "Master Ninth, there's only one code left. You solve
it, and I'll look for the shoe."
"Alright." Gordon took the box.
Elsa crossed her arms. "Master Ninth, you might as well give up! Gertrude is a Morse code genius. She set the final code herself. No one can crack it-"

Almost as soon as she spoke, Gordon solved the puzzle, opened the box, and retrieved the left wedding shoe.
Elsa's jaw dropped. Gertrude was also stunned.
"Amazing!" Celia applauded. "Master Ninth, you and Freya truly are a perfect match!"
Both of them were freaks of nature!
Celia was a Morse code enthusiast herself. She had been watching over Kern's shoulder as he worked on the puzzle and couldn't make heads or tails of it.
Yet Gordon had solved it in less than a minute!
Although the left shoe had been
found, the right one was nowhere to be seen. Gordon and his
groomsmen eventually had to admit defeat "We give up where the other shoe?"
Elsa, smiling, retrieved the right shoe from the shoe cabinet by the door.
To throw the groom's team offe che
had intentionally left the cabinet door ajar.
Indeed, the boldest moves are often the most effective.
Gordon and the entire groom's party stood frozen in disbelief.
Who would have ever thought the shoe would be in the shoe cabinet, and with the
door wide open at that!
