Her assistant entered, holding a document, a troubled expression on her face. "Ms. Gonzales."

"What is it?" Caitlin looked up.

The assistant placed the file on the desk. "There's a problem with our export application. Public sentiment in Rosenthal is extremely negative. They're all boycotting our company's products. They're saying.... they're calling Jade Glow Balm 'face-melting garbage."

Caitlin picked up the document and quickly scanned a few pages. After a moment, she said, "In that case, halt the plan to export to Rosenthal. We'll wait until their representatives come begging us."

*Begging?*

The assistant gave Caitlin a strange look. Rosenthal had LM. The fate of Jade Glow Balm was still uncertain. Why on earth would they come begging? Suppressing her confusion, the assistant continued, "Also, there's a skincare conference tomorrow that you need to attend."

"Alright." Caitlin closed the file. "What time?"

"Nine-thirty in the morning," the assistant replied.

Caitlin nodded. "I'll be there on time."

The next morning, after breakfast, Caitlin changed into a formal suit for the conference. It was a stark contrast to her usual casual attire. The tailored suit gave her a sharp, commanding presence. She looked so cool and capable, exuding an intimidating aura of power, that even Keira was taken aback for a moment, barely recognizing her granddaughter.

After a long pause, Keira finally remarked with admiration, "Our Freya is far more impressive than I ever was at her age."

Stuart, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. Looking at his daughter, he was reminded of his younger self and of Carey. Thank God he had his daughter. Without her, he wasn't sure he would have found a reason to keep living. Since waking up, he had been searching relentlessly for his wife, but there were still no leads.

He walked over to Caitlin. "Freya, would you like me to accompany you to the conference?"

The attendees would be influential figures from major international skincare companies, including the head of LM Group's Asia division. As capable as Caitlin was she was stil only twenty, and Stuart worried she might be overwhelmed.

"It's okay, Dad. It's just a meeting, you don't need to come with me," Caitlin said with a smile. "Think of it as a chance for me to gain some experience."

Seeing her determination, Stuart didn't insist.

At nine o'clock, Caitlin arrived at the conference venue with her secretary. After signing in at the entrance, she received a name badge for her company, pinned it to her chest, and walked into the main hall.

The hall was already crowded with

the industry's most prominent figures. When Caitlin entered, all

eyes turned to her with curiosity. But as their gazes fell to the name badge on her chest, that curiosity instantly soured into disdain. Whispers erupted throughout the room.

"Look, it's Freya from Gonzales Holdings!"

"My God, she actually has the nerve to show up here. Doesn't she know she's about to lose her company?"

"If I were her, I'd be planning my escape to another country with whatever money I could grab."
