The reporters immediately fell silent.
Justin stepped forward and spoke. "Friends from the media, welcome to Pilsner Group. Mr. Pilsner has urgent matters to attend to and won't be making an appearance today."
One reporter raised a question. "Can you clarify the situation between Mr. Pilsner and the female college student?"
"Everyone, please stay calm and allow me to address the matter," Justin said. "I speak on behalf of Mr. Pilsner as well. There is no connection whatsoever between Mr. Pilsner and Ms. Rebecca Conway.
"We urge everyone to immediately stop spreading unfounded rumors. Should anyone deliberately circulate false information, Pilsner Group's legal team will gather all necessary evidence and pursue prompt legal action. We will not tolerate any form of defamation."
Rebecca sneered. Justin's statement was full of empty formalities.
The reporters echoed her skepticism, their voices rising in protest.
"What is Mr. Pilsner really trying to say?"
"He's the one who demanded this press conference, yet he's missing in action!"
Justin quickly interrupted. "Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Pilsner is genuinely tied up with important matters at the moment!"
"And what exactly is he so busy with?" someone questioned.
But before anyone could respond, Jeremy blurted out, "Mrs. Pilsner is here!"
Justin's eyes narrowed. "Mr. Leclair, some things are meant to be said, and others are better left unsaid. Didn't you know that?"
Jeremy swallowed hard. "Sorry."
"Alright, that's enough. This press conference is over," Justin declared. "Thank you all for coming. You may leave now."
With that, Justin and Jeremy turned and walked away.
It only took a slip of the tongue for Jeremy to reveal a key piece of information "Mrs. Pilsner" was here.
The reporters immediately began whispering among themselves.
"Oh wow, Mrs. Pilsner is here! That's probably why Mr. Pilsner didn't even bother to show up."
"Can you blame her for confronting him? Any woman would be furious if her husband got caught up in a scandal with a college student."
"Do you think Mr. and Mrs. Pilsner are having a massive fight right now?"
"I'd give anything to sneak inside and see it firsthand."
Rebecca's eyes gleamed with glee. Could Hailey really be here?
She had called Hailey earlier that morning just to provoke her. Was it possible that Hailey had gone straight to the company to confront Jonah?
This was exactly the outcome Rebecca had hoped for.
The sooner Hailey and Jonah part ways, the better.
Still, Rebecca wasn't entirely sure. After all, she hadn't actually seen Jonah and Hailey together.
Eager for answers, she headed to Aspenfield University and soon found Olivia.
Olivia had been trying to reach her. "Rebecca, I've called you so many times! Why didn't you pick up?"
"Sorry, Olivia. My phone died. What's the matter?"
Olivia's expression was full of worry. "Rebecca, I've heard everything about what happened between you and Mr. Pilsner at Union Club."
Rebecca's lips trembled into a pout. "Olivia, I just happened to run into Mr. Pilsnerlast night. I wanted to bring him some soup but he'd
already been drink ut he'd net

soon as he saw me, he started
putting his hands on me and tried to
take advantage of me."
Olivia's jaw dropped. "What? That doesn't sound like him at all. Isn't his wedding to Hailey coming up soon?"
Rebecca's eyes welled up with tears.
"He reeked of alcohol. But the
moment remembered he was
Hailey's fiance, I pushed him awet
and ran out immediately. Just
outside thappened to run into some reporters. That's how the story was reported in the media."
Olivia had always seen Jonah in a positive light, so it was hard for her to accept Rebecca's story. "How could Mr. Pilsner even think of harassing you? Hailey's expecting his baby, for crying out loud!
