Sellers saw the bigger picture better than Aurora.
If that baby was truly his and Joshua exposed it, it would be the scandal of the century for the Burton family.
Losing his position as the family head would be getting off lightly; he might be permanently exiled.
Aurora was walking a tightrope.
Sellers would never allow anything that threatened his standing to exist.
The baby had to go.
...
A few days later, Stella received a call from Old Mr. Wyatt.
"Stella, the doctor I mentioned last time is here. Whenever you have time, bring that Gardner kid over."
She was reviewing treatment plans with Dr. Winter when the phone rang.
At Old Mr. Wyatt's words, her spirits lifted immediately.
"Okay, Joshua and I will head over this afternoon," she said without hesitation.
After hanging up, Dr. Winter, dressed in a white lab coat, smiled and asked, "Did you find a new doctor, Ms. Cameron?"
Stella didn't hide it, giving a gentle nod.
Dr. Winter looked apologetic. "I'm so sorry, Ms. Cameron. I thought I could help, but none of the treatment plans I drafted have been effective."
"I've sent people to look for so many doctors, and almost none of them were willing to treat him," Stella replied. "I'm already incredibly grateful that you came here to
try."
Dr. Winter sighed. "Mr. Gardner has refused to trust me, which makes it very hard to proceed with any effective treatment. However, I'll continue to research new approaches as best as I can. To be honest, I find his type of case quite fascinating."
A thought crossed Stella's mind. "I've been playing the violin for him lately. He said the music helps calm his nerves. Do you think... this kind of therapy could work?"
"It will have some effect, but from what I can see, it's limited."
Dr. Winter's expression turned serious as she looked at Stella.
"Ms. Cameron, based on the new developments you've shared with me, I actually recommend hypnosis as the best course action."
...
After saying goodbye to Dr. Winter, Stella went to see Old Mr. Wyatt with Joshua.
This time, she didn't run into Leonard Lerman.
Arriving at the residence, Stella immediately noticed an unfamiliar young man standing next to Old Mr. Wyatt.
He had Eastern features, looked to be about thirty, and stood there expressionless, giving off an aloof vibe.
Old Mr. Wyatt introduced them. "This is Dr. Colby Hunt."
Stella had assumed the expert would be an older gentleman.
She was surprised by his youth.
Despite her surprise, she didn't underestimate him.
She and Joshua stepped forward to greet him.
Colby glanced at them and gave a lukewarm nod.
"I've brought the man here for you," Old Mr. Wyatt said. "I'm not an
expert in this field. How you proceed With the treatment is your
business
If there's nothing else, I'll leave you to it."

Stella thanked him, and Old Mr. Wyatt took his leave.
About half an hour later, Old Mr. Wyatt was having coffee with Mr. Burton when he
saw Stella, Joshua, and Colby leaving.
Mr. Burton looked slightly surprised. "Leaving so soon? I've met that kid Colby a few times. He's incredibly arrogant. You can't just buy him of force him to come. I didn't think you had it in you to actually get him here."
Old Mr. Wyatt's expression was deadpan. "I didn't invite him. That L guy used his
methods to force him over."
Mr. Burton paused before realization dawned on his face.
"No wonder he agreed to come." He shot Old Mr. Wyatt a look. "So, he was actually quite polite to you."
