Queenie woke up at the crack of dawn, spending hours in the salon chair getting her hair and makeup flawlessly done.
Haynes had finally agreed to see her.
The last time he had said yes, he abruptly claimed he had urgent business in Neo- Vespera and vanished for nearly a month. Just as she was losing her mind and contemplating flying out to track him down, he returned and confirmed their date.
This was it their first official date.
It was a shame she wouldn't have much time to actually flirt and build a connection with him today. But that didn't matter. Once Haynes saw Stella exposed and ruined in front of his very eyes, Queenie would have all the time in the world to comfort him.
Dressed to kill, Queenie headed straight for the venue.
She had booked a private VIP suite at a luxury entertainment club. If she wanted Haynes to witness Stella's utter depravity, it had to happen in a secluded setting. Booking a hotel room would have raised too many red flags for both Haynes and Stella. But a club suite? That was perfect. It would only highlight exactly how desperate, filthy, and out of control Stella really was.
To ensure absolutely nothing went wrong, Queenie arrived hours early.
The suite right next door was the exact room where Stella would be holding her business negotiation.
Queenie grinned to herself. Just as Stella was losing her mind in a drug-fueled haze, Queenie would kick the door down with Haynes right behind her. The fallout was going to be cinematic.
Sitting on the plush velvet sofa, Queenie let her imagination run wild, picturing Stella's complete humiliation. She had deliberately hired a group of the most repulsive, sleazy men she could find. When Stella finally sobered up and realized she had been used like a cheap toy in a group session, the shame would completely destroy her.
If Stella spiraled into a deep depression and took her own life? Even better. Once Stella was dead, all their problems would vanish.
"Aurora always acts like she's some brilliant mastermind, but she's nothing but a fraud," Queenie scoffed to the empty room. "She let Joshua and Stella walk all over her and didn't even have the guts to strike back. Always playing it safe. She isn't half as smart as I am."
But as the clock ticked closer to the designated time, there was still no sign of Haynes.
Queenie's pulse began to race.

If Haynes didn't show up soon, he was going to miss the grand finale. Thankfully, with that many men involved and the heavy dosage drugs they slipped Stella the spectacle next door wasn't going to end anytime soon. Trusting her foolproof setup, she forced herself to breathe.
Unable to help herself, she finally dialed Haynes.
"Stuck in traffic. I'll be there soon," he replied curtly.
Ten agonizing minutes later, she texted him again.
"Almost there," came the reply.
Queenie had no choice but to sit and wait.
Perhaps it was just anxiety, but she suddenly felt incredibly parched. A strange suffocating heat began to prickle beneath her skin. She absentmindedly grabbed a bottle of water off the table and took kalong
gulp.

"Hayser, you are seriously a legend! Snagging Mr. Williams? He's a total catch. He makes all your past suitors look like absolute trash!"
"I heard he's going to be the next head of The Williams Group. Not only is he drop- dead gorgeous, but he's brilliant and actually keeps his nose clean."
