Chapter 527:
Yelena looked back at them and inquired, “Are you claiming that my brother attacked your sons?”
One of the men, visibly sweating, replied awkwardly, “There’s been some misunderstanding!”
His companions, equally uneasy, added, “Actually, it was our sons who were at fault. Neil had nothing to do with it.”
Yelena asked, “And you’re certain of this?”
“Completely sure!”
“I’m going to get my son and make him apologize to Neil right now.”
“Yes, I’ll go too!”
These parents, usually only seen at school during teacher-parent meetings, were so flustered they initially headed in the wrong direction. Neil had to correct them.
Both the administrative director and Erin were taken aback, struggling to grasp the sudden turn of events.
Yelena, remaining composed, questioned, “Any other issues then?”
“No, absolutely none!” the administrative director hurriedly assured.
Erin remained silent, too intimidated to speak. She knew these parents held some influence—not immense, but notable within societal circles.
Why were they showing such deference to a young woman like Yelena?
Before they could ponder further, the parents returned with their sons.
“Hurry up, apologize to Neil!”
“I’m sorry, Neil. It was wrong of me to pressure you into helping us cheat during the exam and then to lash out when you resisted.”
“Yes, we deserved the punishment.”

The chubby father scolded his son with a slap, saying, “This mess is your fault!”
The initial slap set off a chain reaction, prompting the other two parents to strike their sons, whose anguished cries soon resounded sharply.
Upon their arrival, the principal and Austin were met with this alarming scene.
To regain control, the principal coughed loudly, which brought an immediate halt to the chaos.
As the principal looked on, the administrative director and Erin hastened to clarify the circumstances. “They needed to be disciplined for their actions!” the principal announced curtly.
Erin, bewildered, could only ask, “What?”
The administrative director shared her confusion. The principal’s demeanor had taken an unexpected turn. At that moment, Neil spotted the man at the entrance.
Overjoyed, Neil shouted, “Austin, you’ve arrived!”
When Yelena turned towards the entrance, her eyes unwittingly met Austin’s intense stare, pulling her into an unexpected trance.
Yelena was momentarily stunned before awkwardly looking away.
Confusion clouded Yelena’s thoughts. What was Austin’s purpose here?
In the meantime, the principal whispered something to the administrative director and Erin, leaving them utterly astonished.
“So, you’re saying…”
“Let’s keep this between us.”
“Okay, we understand.”
Erin’s look towards Neil shifted to one of deep appreciation, as though she had uncovered something precious.
“Now that things have settled down, I suggest the boys write a letter of apology to Neil and formally apologize in next week’s assembly. Does that sound reasonable?” the principal asked.
