Chapter 1004:
The host laughed. “Choose your own teams. Anyone who wants to participate, head to the changing room and grab a swimsuit. I’ve stocked brand-new ones for everyone.”
Kristen kept a pleasant expression as she walked toward the changing room with Rylie.
Along the way, she leaned closer and whispered to Rylie, “Did Sean stop by to see you tonight? Was he upset?”
Rylie asked calmly, “Why do you think so?”

Kristen continued, “When he got home, he locked himself in his room. He didn’t speak to anyone.”
Rylie replied, “That’s nothing unusual. He only came to see Brad and had dinner with us.”
Kristen feigned innocence. “Oh, I’m not sure about the details, but it seems he might be revising his will. Maybe he plans to name Frank as the next head of the Morgan family. Brad never goes home anymore, and that’s been hard on Sean.”
Rylie stopped walking, turned toward her, and asked suddenly, “Why didn’t Frank join the water volleyball game? He’s been beside you this whole time, yet he won’t play something this simple?”
Kristen’s expression tightened. “He said he isn’t good at it.”
“I wonder if he might be taking drugs. Kristen, you should pay attention. Saying he isn’t good at it sounds like an excuse. Even Brad doesn’t play, but he still comes with me.” Rylie released a slow breath. “People who use drugs often show physical signs, so keep an eye on him. If Sean learns anything, it could put the inheritance at risk, or worse, Frank could be cut off completely.”
“Frank would never use drugs. Rylie, don’t jump to conclusions,” Kristen replied, her smile slipping.
She understood the message clearly—Rylie was warning her. As a skilled healer, Rylie must have already noticed the signs of Frank’s drug use. If Sean discovered the truth, everything Kristen hoped to achieve by returning to the country would collapse.
Kristen’s gaze darkened. So what if Rylie was praised everywhere she went? Carter had tried and failed to deal with Rylie. In the end, only Kristen’s own family would ever have the power to bring someone like Rylie down.
And if Rylie ever stepped foot overseas again, Kristen intended to make sure she suffered for it.
Once everyone returned in their swimsuits, the pool area buzzed with excitement.
Kristen chose a neon pink bikini that highlighted her curves and walked with a confident sway, clearly seeking attention. Many of the men admired her figure openly, whistling as she passed.
Frank looked proud, enjoying the attention she drew.
Each woman carried her own charm, and the men were no different. Their bodies, shaped by years of strict training and discipline, filled out their swim trunks. They showed no hesitation in displaying the results of their hard work.
When Brad appeared, it wasn’t only his build that drew gazes. The scars along his arms and torso told stories of battles and survival, and to the women watching, those marks added to his appeal rather than taking away from it. They couldn’t help but envy Rylie’s luck in having such a capable and striking partner.
