Chapter 472:
Ever since Brad met Zaylee in the auditorium, gossip had spread like wildfire. Everyone thought they were secretly dating.
Sure, getting caught trying to plagiarize with Letty had been a huge scandal. But Zaylee’s status as Brad Morgan’s future wife made people look the other way. In fact, they only tried harder to stay on her good side.
Zaylee had feared everyone would turn on her — but nothing changed. Deep down, she knew Brad had his limits, but she couldn’t let go of the thrill of being treated like royalty.
For now, things had calmed down at school.
The list of accepted grad students was out, and Rylie made it. She’d been admitted to Kellon Medical University, the top school overseas.
After a thorough review, the school had agreed to let her take classes online from home, with one strict condition — she had to be physically present for all exams. If her grades didn’t meet their standards, she’d be kicked out immediately.
Rylie accepted without hesitation. Coincidentally, Kellon was in Ostium. Somehow, Dennis got wind of the news.
He contacted her grandfather, asked for her email, and sent her a message inviting her to visit the Royal Academy of Arts.
To make it harder for her to say no, Dennis included a little teaser: the school had just acquired a piano score from the early 1700s.
The sheet music had been unearthed recently, but poor storage had damaged it badly. After careful examination, experts suspected it might be an unknown work by Lorenzo Monteverdi.
The notes were so faint that restoring it would be nearly impossible. But if anyone managed to do it, the music world would be shaken.

At the end of the email, Dennis added, “Your grandfather told me you’re good with artifact restoration — and you play piano. Want to take a look? I’ll cover your flight and stay. It won’t mess with your grad school plans. Just bring a few packs of that herbal tea I like.”
Truth be told, Dennis had a way with words. Rylie was curious.
She agreed and promised to bring the tea. The next day, her flight details and itinerary landed in her inbox. By the third day, an official letter arrived at her doorstep.
It was a premium invitation from the Royal Academy of Arts — signed personally by the dean. The gold lettering on the card was made with real gold, and the seal at the bottom was stamped beside the dean’s signature.
As Rylie examined the card, Deandre — home on break — suddenly appeared at her side. He snatched the invitation from her hand and gave a low whistle. “The Royal Academy? Handwritten invite from the dean? This is 35-level — almost no one gets these. What, are you switching from medicine to music now?”
“Not really. Just something.” Rylie grabbed the invitation again and flicked it into the drawer without much thought. “How come you’re at home, Deandre? Don’t you have work?”
