Ivor continued, “To take down this international crime ring and protect our national artifacts, we must identify every member quickly. If we don’t act fast, more artifacts will be smuggled overseas.”

Terry thought for a moment, then spoke. “Chief Binder, do you have any skilled hackers here? We need direct access to their data.”

Ivor nodded. “We have one. He’s decent, though not the best. Still, it’s worth a try. Come on, I’ll take you to the server room.”

They walked into the server room and met the hacker.

The young man looked a little nervous. Ivor briefly explained Terry’s request.

The hacker sat down and got to work. His fingers flew across the keyboard as streams of code rolledacrossthe monitor.

After several minutes, sweat appeared on his forehead. He frowned and finally shook his head.

“The security system is extremely strong,” he admitted. “I can’t break through it with my current skills.”

Terry asked worriedly, “Is there another way? Do you know anyone with better skill?”

The hacker hesitated, then spoke carefully.

“There’s someone I really admire–Ghost. He’s ranked the number one hacker in the world.

“If Ghost takes the job, getting their information would be easy.

‘But I don’t have his contact.”

Terry leaned forward. “Then tell me how we can reach him.”

The hacker replied, “Ghost sometimes accepts jobs on the Darknet. I can leave him a message there. If he’s interested, he’ll contact me.”

Terry nodded immediately. “Please do that.”

At the moment, this was their fastest option. Without outside help, cracking the case would be almost impossible,

The hacker opened the Darknet site and wrote a detailed message to Ghost, explaining the mission and leaving his contact information.

Larissa had just finished her shower. When she picked up her phone, a new task request appeared.

Artifact smugglers. Protecting the artifacts was everyone’s duty.

She replied at once.

“I’ll do it. Send me the suspects‘ background information. I’ll start investigating now.”

Chapter 276 The Hacker Called Ghost

Finished

Back in the server room, the hacker suddenly jumped up in excitement. “Ghost replied! Ghost actually replied!” He turned to Terry, practically glowing. “Chief Binder, look! I told you–Ghost is amazing!”

Within minutes, Terry connected with Larissa online. The hacker immediately sent over all the information they had gathered about the smuggling ring.

Larissa began typing rapidly. Her eyes were sharp and focused. Within minutes, she traced several key suspects‘ online activity.

As she analyzed the data, she kept Terry’s team updated in real time.

Then suddenly, she noticed something. The criminals‘ system had activated a counter–tracking defense. The situation became tricky.

But Larissa stayed calm. Using her advanced skills, she launched a silent battle against the system.

Code attacked. Firewalls blocked. She adjusted and struck again. After a fierce digital showdown, Larissa finally broke through the defenses and secured the critical information.

She sent the intel to Terry.

“I’ve identified the trade location,” she wrote. “Their next deal is tomorrow at 8:00 p.m.”

Terry stared at the message, excitement and admiration flashing in his eyes. He immediately began organizing the arrest operation.

“Thank you, Ghost,” he replied. “What reward would you like?”

Larissa responded without hesitation. “No payment needed. I’m glad to help my country.”

Terry raised an eyebrow.

He hadn’t expected Ghost to be from Smeana too.

With someone like this helping them, solving cases would become much easier.
